Yeah it takes a good amount of time, even when your site is well-established! Expect it to take 1-3 months to rank on the first page of search results if you’re going after a competitive keyword phrase… and that’s if you’re building links to your content through guest posting, promoting it on social media channels, etc. Here are a couple of good guides for you:
