I tend to lean toward longer content, but the devil is in the details! Some topics don’t require a 3,000+ word guide in order to provide the best possible answer 🙂

I believe the optimal length is 1300-1700 words. All content writers should pay more attention to creating better content that is up to date and knows what the user is really looking for when they go to the blog. What do you think?

Long blog posts can create a good client base. They can increase your audience and the reading time. Amazing blog though. Thanks for the information. I still have clients that think they can gain first-page Google ranking with 300-word blog posts. It’s amazing how they think like it’s 2010 still. There isn’t a right or wrong answer here, but anything less than 1,000 words is most likely a waste of time. I like to look at the length of the top 10 pages on Google for my main keyword and try to beat them all.
